Our friendly and trained staff is available to customers 24/7, striving to provide a professional service that will satisfy our customers. Supervision and care are constantly provided, and professional medical care is occasionally and as needed.

Healthy Meals

We prepare food with special care and choose proven suppliers. The home serves three meals and snacks, with a focus on healthy foods without too much fat and sugar. Most meals are served in our dining room.

The home is located in the center of the village of Savinac, near the river Dičina, surrounded by forests that create a pleasant and clean air, hide the home from noise and create shade. Next to the yard of the home there is a church and a beautiful church yard.

CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES

Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) are for persons 60 years of age or older. They provide individuals long term care in the form of independent living units, residential care/assisted living services, and skilled nursing care. Typically, all these various living types are all in one location, and residents move between the various care options as they age.

ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY

Assisted living communities provide a safe, somewhat supervised environment for people who want assistance with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and transportation, as well as support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication management. Assisted living also provides opportunities for socialization, engagement, and activities.

Home for the elderly ‘Savinac’ has 55 comfortable places for accommodation and care of the elderly and adults.

Activities in the Home are aimed at maintaining positive relationships, organizing religious, cultural, entertainment, and recreational activities, board games, walking, reading, and talking.

Savinac and surroundings

Savinac is a hamlet of the Takovo village of Sarani, about 4 kilometers from Takovo and the highway. Legend has it that Saint Sava used to pass here, so his name comes from there. They say that even today, you can see the imprint of his horse’s hooves in the stone.
